Memories of summer ～Samegai：醒ヶ井～

I dropped in at Samegai[醒ヶ井] that was near by the Mt. Ibuki[伊吹山]. It is small town and is known for a flower blooming underwater.

This flower grows up into only the clear water that water temperature maintained the same. This is called Baikamo[梅花藻]. Because it resembled the flower[花] of the plum[梅], it gained such a name. It is very small, but it is pretty.

It blooms in water, but comes from the surface of the water when water level is low.

It is cool the side of a river.
I felt cooler the side of the river when I looked at this flower which wavered in the river.

The spring sprang out, too, and there was the Shinto shrine near, too.

It was a quiet place.

The light blue thing which is seen over there of the window is not the sea.
It is lake which is the biggest in Japan, Lake Biwa-ko[琵琶湖：Biwako].

We took a rest in a cafe along Lake Biwa-ko and returned.

I　had happy time.

Memories of summer ～Mt.Ibukiyama [伊吹山：IBUKIYAMA]～

We went to the Mt. Ibuki [伊吹山]in Shiga[滋賀県] for a summer vacation.
The mountaintop of the Mt. Ibuki is always cooler than a town, and many flowers bloom during summer.
On the day when we went, it was fine. However, fog appeared on the mountaintop and was not able to overlook it far and wide.

Wecan look the flower around ourself. They ware very beautiful.
In fog of the orange of the lily shined.

The saury [秋刀魚、さんま―ＳＡＮＭＡ]

The saury is one of the autumn cooking ingredients. The grilling fish with salt of the saury is common, but we have eaten sashimi.

The day we have sashimi,I cooked rice seasoned with vegetables[炊き込みご飯：TAKIKOMIGOHANN]（mushrooms　etc.）

Japanese sweet [わらび餅：WARABIMOCHI]

This is one of the Japanese sweets in the summer.
This warabimochi[わらび餅] is round, but there is the square one too.
This is whitish, but it is originally such a color because it includes powdered green tea.

roasted a wing soaked in an oyster source and ketchup with an oven.
We drank shochu[焼酎].

ＴＡＴＡＭＩ [畳]

I wiped the tatami mat with vinegar water. It prevent the shrill change of color of the tatami mat, and it is the harmful insect prevention to wipe with vinegar water. It is old wisdom.

I sleep in the room of the tatami mat. I like tatami mats.

However, rental apartments without the room of the tatami mat increase recently. We often move by work, but I am sorry that it became difficult to look for the new home having the room of the tatami mat.

Memories of summer ~Riverside scenery~

I dropped in Hirafuku「平福」, too where is near by sunflower field of Sayo-cho.It's a very small town,where is known for traditional reverside scenery.
I decided to satisfy my stomach before looking at there.I went to the restaurant of the roadside station"Hirahuku". I ate a yam set meal. It was delicious. Ilove yam.















The swallow was building a lot of nests. There was a child who was moving his wing, too. It is near at time when they fly away.














The way which leads to the river.














The old scenery of storehouses were different from it which I saw so far. Iwas made to feel in sligtly diffrent spsce.



I heard only the sound of the river, and iT was atmosphere settled down to stillness. A few visitors took a photo.

This is soy sauce shop. It's the long-established soy sauce storehouse of the establishment of a business for 1967 years.

Most of the soy sauce cannot be seen such a storehouse too much now, because it is produced in a big factory.

Memories of summer ~Sunflower field「ひまわり畑―ＨＩＭＡＷＡＲＩBATAKE」~

It's September.I'm relieved because it is cool a little since yesterday.It had beenvery hot for about 3 months.

I hate summer.
But I went to Koshien Suadium[甲子園球場] to see high school baseball game for the first time,and enjoyed the visit to the sunflower field and in Sayo-cho,Hyogo[兵庫県、佐用町のひまわり畑]and Mt.Ibuki in Shiga[滋賀県　伊吹山].

In July,I went to sunflower field,where is famous in Kansai [関西].

A lot of peaple visit there every year, when sunflowers bloom most beautifully. And vegetables in local are sold.

The sunflowers were very beautihul.It was wonderful more than I had expected.I took many photos.
