one as for the supper of recent my home. It'S a Pork Saute' with Ginger,豚のしょうが焼き（Buta-no-Shouga-yaki)

bake sliced pork pickled to soy sauce and sweet sake and liquor and ginger juice.It is easy and is delicious.

It thundered suddenly today.

And, the sky was covered with a thick, black cloud.

It took the place of an intense downpour and lightning as soon as it began to rain. It undulated by the wind about rain. Rain that hit the building was too intense, it splashed, and it was returned.

3.scenery of Honmura district in Naoshima

Old houses remain in Honmura本村.

Please take a walk through row of houses along a city street while watching an art work(^^)

When strolling, we found the temple and the Shinto shrine. It is 極楽寺Gokuraku-ji Temple and 八幡神社 Yahata Shinto shrine.
Please drop　in there , if you have time ,because it was good atmosphere.

The port town has many wild cats.

We occasionally see such a door plate in Naoshima. Once upon a time, because the villager had not had his/her name, the villager applied the name by the feature of the occupation and the place. It is a name屋号；YAGOU. It is the one like nickname of the house.

The plates of the name of the street and the town were put up.

These curtains are called a noren暖簾.
These are displayed in the entrance hall of several houses. These are one of the artworks, too.

2.Art House Project ,in Honmura district＜本村プロジェクト＞ Naoshima直島's trip

Art House Project is a permanent work initiated in 1998 using the town of Naoshima as a stage.
In Honmura district本村地区, artists repair old private houses, create the artwork , and they are open to the public.
At first please buy the ticket in an archive when you arrive at here. This ticket is sold in Benesse, too.People stayed at the Benesse hotel can appreciate these many times during the stay .



This is [Haisha：はいしゃ]. Originally the house which was a dentist<歯医者＝HAISHA> is made a work. The author scribbles in this and installs an old signboard and makes the space of the house freely. I enjoyed it very much, too.

The most interesting thing is the big Statue of Liberty in this house.　My husband said,I wonder this was made for this artwork. But this work is made with many things thrown away. I thougt this is just the thing which was not necessary carriing. As one expected,it was the statue in the pinball hall which closed. haha（＾▽＾）

This is the [Ishibashi：石橋]

Because the main building was repairing it, we were not able to appreciate it. However, we watched the work [the Falls].Though it is a picture, It make us feel coolly.

This is[Minamidera:南寺].
This was the most shocking artwork to me. It is the darkness that must assail a hand on the wall so that we walk.In the darkness that dosen't look even oneself's hand, our feeling is sharp. The world that appears from the stillness that we feel even breathing. I was very impressive. We came during a trip several times here.
However, when you are with a noisy person, you are unluky. It is the work which you should watch calmly and silently.

Vacant land next to the Minamidera is a small park, and children play.

This is [Go'o Shrine：護王神社GOOU-JINJA].
Because the Shinto shrine which there was from the Edo era is decrepit, an artist repaired it.
The foreign people may not understand them. At first, in the common Shinto shrine, the stone spread all is smaller. In addition, there is not usually ways abreast of stairs and the basement of the glass.
The artist seems to have wanted to make a peculiar work. It is taken in play.
Because the Shinto shrine was a place dedicated to God, the resident seems to have had a pro and con in this artwork.
The pure glass seems to be worshiped as one of the precious materials retaining spiritual power from ancient times. Therefore the glass of the optic lens is used. it seems to be expensive. .（＾＾；

Stairs following the top are made underground. When we came back from there, we felt wind and the fragrance of the sea from the small passage.
I thought that it seemed to be a way of God.
I don't know whether whether this Shinto shrine is good or right, but It's beautiful and mysterious.

1. red pumpkin 赤いカボチャ（AKAI-KABOCHA） Trip of art's island,NAOSHIMA直島

It is a topic of the travel in May. Two months have passed because the up-loading of the photograph was slow. We visited Naoshima in May.

Naoshima（直島） is a small island located in the Seto Inland Sea（瀬戸内海setonaikai）.

Do a lot of tourists come to such a small remote island?

It is because this small island has taken in the art. Because here is evaluated from foreign countries high, a lot of foreign tourists are visiting.

But, in fact, here is not so known in Japan. Some people very interested in the art are only known here.

I had wanted to visit here before, so I'm glad.

We put the car to the ferry and went to the island. It is a station in the sea, Naoshima, and a door port on the island.

First of all, a red pumpkin invites us. The inside is entered in it and we can enter the inside in the cave.
