Sagio-jinja,shinto shrine and Enko-ji,temple in Kyoto 京都の鷺尾神社と円光寺

I dropped in at the the Sagio Shinto shrine 鷺尾神社 before going to Enkoji, temple円光寺.
The colored leaves of the mountain were beautiful on the way, too.

This Shinto shrine is not particularly famous. But I went to there because I seemed to be able to watch colored leaves.
It was right choice to go to there! It was red, and the tunnel leaf of colored leaves was dyed and was very beautiful!
The maidenhair tree has scattered. Children were playing happily by the fallen leaf of the maidenhair tree.

I went to Enko-ji Temple円光寺 .

The picture of the sliding door襖絵 was wonderful.

Colored leaves has scattered a little in the garden. But, the leaf covered on ground dyed surroundings to red.

Akayama-zenin in Kyoto 京都の赤山禅院

I stopped by Akayama-zenin赤山禅院 from Renge-ji,temple蓮華寺 on the way.

It co-stars about the chicken foot and cherry blossoms. Because most cherry blossoms bloom in spring, such a spectacle is unusual. It blooms in cherry blossoms that are called Kansakura in winter. A lot of flowers do not bloom like cherry blossoms of spring. And, it is small. But, it is very lovely.

Something stands in line. It tries to approach.

funny!! 面白い~(omosiroi!)

These are Omikuji. Because it is paper folded generally, this is rare. We sometimes watch the sacred lot of such a doll.
Omikuji is ....ummm. It is difficult to explain it.
~~ Omikuji is a traditional form of Japanese fortune telling in which a person's fortune is written on piece of folded paper and is typically sold at Shinto Shrines and Buddhist Temples for about 100 yen. Omikuji can range from excellent to poor and tell about various aspects of life including love, business, academics, special wishes, travel etc. Many Japanese visit shrines and temples at the New Year and enjoy this.Omikuji are usually not taken seriously and are read with a sense of fun. Once the omikuji is read, many people tie them on trees and pillars at temples and shrines for good luck.~~ It was explained like this.

Kyoto Renge-ji,temple 京都の蓮華寺

I went to Kyoto to watch colored leaves in the beginning of December.
Kyoto is very beautiful in spring and autum. I often go to there in autumn, too.
The famous place of colored leaves is crowded very much from morning.
I went to the slightly remote north area from the center to avoid it this time. I went to the Renge-ji,temple蓮華寺first which I wanted to go most .

The colored leaves was beautiful from the gate of the temple. When the garden might surely be also beautiful, I was expected.

I have shouted that I pass through the gate. Wow!How beautiful !

I was able to look at the garden quietly slowly because there was not so much person.
I was able to settle down me though it was not a big garden. I liked here very much.

Everyone looks at garden in free posture.I settled down very much.

Chinese cabbage 白菜:Hakusai

It is the season when a Chinese cabbage is delicious.
Because a half Chinese cabbage is 100 yen, I buy it easily.
I sandwich a Chinese cabbage and the sliced pork in turn, and I add water ,steam it in a frying pan. (I have not sprinkled a source yet in the photo)
We have after sprinkle a Pon-zuポン酢 on it. It is very easy and is delicious.
We love ポン酢.
ポン酢=a sauce containing soy sauce and vinegar or citrus juice.

Other dishes are miso soups of the root vegetable,
and Avocado and tuna(soak tuna in soy sauce, and mix them)
rice mixed soybeans and seaweed

Hiyoshi-taisha 日吉大社 2 Colored leaves

The maple in front of the torii was very red.

The red of the maple was reflected in the body of the car.

Maples shined brilliantly.

Hiyoshi-taisha 日吉大社 1

I stopped by the great shrine of Hiyoshi 日吉大社in the foot in Hieizan比叡山. Here is a big Shinto shrine where the god in Hieizan is enshrined. And colored leaves is very wonderful.

I was able to see the wedding by chance.
There are a lot of people who marry at the church and the hotel recently. We can't see such a traditional wedding so much.

The woman who put on a pure-white kimono is a bride.
Attendance puts on black clothes usually. If it is a traditional wedding, it is more so.

A Shinto priest was just worshiping God.

Long time has passed.Hello! It's Christmas soon.December is also called 「師走:shiwasu」 by old words in Japan. It means that a master(師匠) is busy and runs(走る), too. After Christmas and Year-end clean-up,the event which greets the New Year for osechi ryori is waiting for us.We generally eat osechi ryori(おせち料理special dishes of New Year's)and greet the New Year. Therefore, wives make a lot of special New Year's foods hard on the 31st. We are very busy.

These are picture of the world's heritage Koya-san高野山.I went in the beginning of November. Because Koyasan gets cold much than the plain, it has promptly turned red.
