We went to Yuasa（湯浅） of Wakayama（和歌山） last month.
It rained unfortunately. However, we saw the sights of the old town and enjoy it.
Yuasa is famous for soy sauce and miso. Yuasa is the soy sauce birthplace.
This town prospered by soy sauce and a miso product in old days. Several long-established stores stay now.
It is a small town. But the old row of houses along a town street lets us feel the history.

This is a barrel of used soy sauce in old days. The traditional soy sauce matures with a big barrel, and it is fermented. 
The high-quality soy sauce is more expensive than something low.But it have the good fragrance and flavor.
This is a shop curtain in soy sauce shop"角長（）Kadochoh)" in a long-established store.
It is a moat used for the transportation of the soy sauce in old days.

Of course I purchased soy sauce. The heavy and delicious soy sauce matches sashimi well
