Ise Jingu Shrine. 伊勢神宮ISEJINGU

We went to Ise伊勢 in Mie三重県 at the end of April.

May 3 is Constitution Memorial Day. 4th is Greenery Day. And 5th is Children's Day. There are consecutive holidays in this way in May.
Many companies take a long holiday from the end of April to consecutive holidays of the May.
We call this rest G.W(Golden Week). People go home, or travel.
Because I was going to travel in the middle of May, I was not making the plan of the travel in GW. But it is dull that we have no plan on a holiday of one week. So,we stayed at Ise for 1 days.

Ise-jingu Grand Shrine is a very big Shinto shrine consisting of Naiku内宮 and Geku外宮.

There is the area called Oharai-machiおはらい町 and Okage-yokochoおかげ横丁,along an approach to a shrine of Naiku. There are many shops in there. Therefore I went to Naiku.
Many. It was very crowded there, because it was Golden Week.

A big pure river flows here.

There is usually washing space to cleanse your hand and mouth in the Shinto shrine. However, washing space was established in the big river here. The fresh green was very beautiful.

Naiku is dedicated to God called”Amaterasuomikami天照大神 ”who is the ancestral god of the Imperial Family. We climbed the stairs, and God is worshiped. We cannot photos there.

The forest of Miyauchi is considered to be precincts and cannot fell it. Such a big tree grows, too. His height is about 180 cm.(about 6 feet)

For consecutive holidays, we were able to watch Japanese traditional arts such as Japanese ability or dance.

Many foods which we can eat while walking is sold in this street.
The steamed bun called Akahukumochi赤福餅 is famous in Ise. A white rice cake is a steamed bun wrapped in bean jam. Because I sometimes ate it in a childhood, I did not buy it this time. But many people bought it. Please try to eat when you visited here.
