2008 summer ～lotuses in Shiga滋賀のハス～

It is already September. However, it is a topic in August.

It was very hot in the summer of this year. Lingering summer heat is still severe.

And, the developing cumulonimbus brought a lot of lightning and abnormal localized torrential rains this year.
This rain was named a guerrilla downpour[ゲリラ豪雨：geriragou] by news. A terrible rainfall gets off at a dash very much in the narrow scope. Some people died because of this.

In July we went to the clustering ground of lotues in Shiga滋賀. A lot of lotus grow naturally here. It extended, Manylotuses were in blossom in Biwa-ko琵琶湖,lake.These ware very beautiful.
